Miss insecure

Have you ever felt less than?

Like you're never enough?

Do you always feel on edge?

Like you're constantly having to prove your worth to people, to prove you're worthy of their respect?

Have you ever been so exhausted at the end of the day because you've done nothing but try to please or impress others ?

Do you sometimes feel like you don't really know yourself?

And what's even worse you're afraid of discovering the real you because what if the real you is not what everybody likes or expects?

Do you regularly compare yourself to others?

You want to be happy for them, but you can't help but feel inferior; you can't help but feel smaller than you already do?

Do you ever wish that things were different?

That you were different?

Maybe things would be a bit easier?

All of these thoughts I've had.

All of these emotions I've felt.

But I've been able to overcome them all because Jesus alone is my Security.

The confidence I have does not come from me, my appearance or my achievements

but rather it comes from and is founded on Jesus alone.

The enemy tries to give me reasons to be insecure everyday but my Saviour is always there to shut him down by reminding me of His Everlasting Love for me.

I get my validation from Jesus alone, so I don't seek or need anybody else's approval.

I can finally live my life freely in Jesus Name Amen.
